My $12 Pilot G2 finally died after 14 months

That pen went through three notebooks and survived a full coffee spill in my bag. I guess that's the one bullet journal expense that actually pays off. Anyone else stick with the same cheap pen for way too long?

Actually the Pilot G2 is more like two or three bucks, not twelve. I saw one at Walmart for like $2.50 last week. But I get what you mean about it being a good deal for how long it lasts. I've had a blue one in my desk drawer for almost two years that still writes perfect, even after I left it uncapped overnight once.

lol the uncapped overnight thing is a bold move. I tried that with a random Bic once and it came out looking like a dried up marker from 2005. The Pilot G2 is honestly built different though. I've got a black one that survived being dropped in my coffee mug for like ten minutes, still writes smooth as butter. My handwriting is still chicken scratch but at least the pen is reliable.
