My sister said my bullet journal looked like a chore list
I was showing her my weekly spread yesterday and she just said, 'It looks like a list of stuff you have to do, not stuff you want to do.' I mean, she's right. I have been filling it with tasks and deadlines for my job. It hit different because I started this to help my brain, not stress it out more. I'm thinking of adding a small section just for things I'm looking forward to, like a new book or seeing a friend. Has anyone else had to change their journal to make it feel less like work?

Good idea, I did the same thing! @mary_martin22 is right, adding a few fun things makes it feel like my journal again.

Oh, that's smart. I started writing down one small, nice thing I noticed each day, like the way the light came through my kitchen window. It stopped the whole book from feeling like a chore list.

Yeah, that's a really good point she made. I had the same problem where my planner just became a list of stuff I had to get done. Adding a small section for things I'm excited about totally changed how I felt opening it. What kind of stuff are you thinking of putting in your looking forward to section?
