My weekly review page looked totally different after I started using a green pen
For the first three months, my weekly reviews were just black ink checklists. Last month, I bought a single green pen at the store. I started using it only for writing down what I learned each week. Now, flipping back, the green sections jump out and I can actually see my progress. Has anyone else tried color coding just one specific part of their journal?

Used to think color coding was just for making things look pretty. Tried your green pen idea last week for tracking small wins at work. It completely changed how I see my own notes. Now the good stuff actually stands out instead of getting lost in all the black text. Why did I wait so long to try something so simple?

Remember my friend who started using blue ink for her daily goals.

Oh that's so cool it worked for you too! My buddy did something like this with his workout log, but with a red pen for when he hit a new personal best. It was just a sea of black notes until those red marks showed up, and then you could see his progress over months. It reminds me of what @kelly_craig was saying about her friend and the blue ink for goals. It's wild how one little change can make you actually notice the good patterns you're building.
