That $12 dot grid pad from the art store beat my $30 notebook and I'm still mad about it
I grabbed a cheap dot grid pad at the art supply place on Grand Ave for $12 just to test a weekly layout before messing up my nice notebook. Turns out I loved the paper more, it takes my fountain pen without bleeding and the pages lay flat in a way my fancy one never did. Six weeks later the expensive notebook is still sitting on my shelf half empty and the $12 pad is almost full. Now I feel dumb for assuming price meant better paper. Has anyone else found the cheaper option worked better for them?
