The cafe lady who taught me about weekly spreads

Ran into this older woman at a coffee shop about 3 years ago. She saw me flipping through my bullet journal and laughed. Said my weekly layout was too busy, too many colors. She showed me hers, just a simple line down the middle with tasks on one side and notes on the other. Told me she had been doing it for 9 years that way. Really made me rethink what matters in a journal. Has anyone else had a stranger change how they do things?

@nora_walker57 really nailed it with that whole "strangers know weird stuff" thing. Makes you wonder how many perfect tips are just floating around out there waiting for the right moment.
