Best commute day vs worst commute day this month
Monday I hit every green light for 15 miles straight. Made it to work 10 minutes early. Felt like the universe wanted me to have a good day. Then Wednesday I sat through three cycles at the same intersection near Oak Street. Construction crew left a lane closed with nobody working in it. Which is worse, false hope or predictable misery?

Green light streak is overrated lol. You know exactly what's coming when you sit at a construction zone, no surprises. That build up of false hope hitting all greens just to walk in and have your boss dump a last minute project on you at 8am is way worse. Predictable misery lets you mentally prepare, grab an extra coffee, and accept your fate without the emotional rollercoaster.

Man I had a streak of 14 green lights one morning last month and I swear the universe was setting me up for something awful. Turned out my coffee order was wrong and I had to drink a caramel monstrosity all day, really makes you question the whole cosmic balance thing.
