Finally nailed my parallel parking after 6 months of misery

Used to circle blocks for 10 minutes looking for pull-in spots. Too scared to even try backing in. Last Tuesday downtown Denver I did it first try in front of a whole line of cars. No honking, no curb hits, just one smooth swing. Anybody else have a parking skill that clicked way later than it should have?

Same spot downtown or was it a random one? Just wondering if knowing the lot makes it easier.

A friend of mine tried that and ended up two lots over from where she thought she parked. The whole thing is kind of a gamble no matter what lot it is.
