Got stuck behind a guy who thought his turn signal was optional for 7 miles on Highway 99
I was heading north on Highway 99 near Modesto yesterday and this beat up silver sedan just refused to use his blinker at all. We went through 4 exits and he never signaled once. I was late picking up my kid from soccer practice by 20 minutes because I couldnt guess when he planned to turn. Has anyone else dealt with a driver who just ignores their signal for like the whole commute?

Four exits without a signal is definitely annoying but calling it the reason you were 20 minutes late feels like a stretch. You could have just hung back a few car lengths or taken a different lane instead of tailing him the whole way. Honestly, people forget their blinkers all the time, it's not like he was swerving or brake checking you.

Just hang way back and let them disappear, less stress and you get where you're going the same time either way.

Wait, @seth_harris36, are you saying you genuinely think switching lanes or dropping back is always an option even when you're boxed in and they're crawling in the left lane? I'm just trying to picture that working in real traffic without missing your own exit.
