GPS keeps sending me through neighborhoods that don't exist anymore

My GPS still routes me down Old Mill Road that got turned into a cul-de-sac back in 2019, and last week I ended up stuck behind a school bus on a dead end. I ignored the reroute once and took my old shortcut from 10 years ago, and it saved me 7 minutes. Anyone else have a memory of a road that works better than the map app?

Honestly, "turned into a cul-de-sac back in 2019" got me. That's like five years ago, and your GPS still hasn't figured it out? Ngl, I had a similar thing happen with a bypass that got shutdown in 2020. The app kept telling me to turn onto a patch of dirt with a guardrail in front of it. I just ignored it and took the old county road my dad showed me when I was 16. Saved me like 12 minutes on a bad day. Tech is great until it's not.

Nah, I'd rather trust a million-dollar satellite network than some guy's dad from 2005.
