Hit 50,000 miles on my Prius this morning and the engine light finally turned off
Was dreading the commute on I-35 when I noticed the check engine light that had been on for 6 months just went out at exactly 50,001 miles. Anyone else have a car that fixes itself at random milestones?

My buddy's old Civic did that exact same thing at 100k miles (weird, right?).

Gosh, honestly I used to think those old Honda engines were basically bulletproof no matter what. But hearing about stuff like that at just 100k miles really opened my eyes and made me reconsider.

Read somewhere those old engines had oil issues nobody talked about.
