Hot take: roundabouts are better than stop signs but only if people actually know how to use them

Drove through the new roundabout on Elm Street last week and watched three people stop dead in the middle like it was a four-way stop. Do you think the problem is bad design or just bad drivers not paying attention?

Yeah I heard traffic engineers actually prefer roundabouts because they reduce crashes.
