I finally stopped blasting my horn at every merge after a trucker gave me the sign
Guy in a semi flashed his lights and pointed at my rearview during a 5-lane pileup on I-85, so now I check my blind spots twice before laying on the horn, anyone else get called out like that?

Man I still cringe thinking about the time I did almost the exact same thing. It was at a grocery store and this lady was struggling with her bags and I just walked right past her like I didn't even see her. Didn't realize until I got to my car and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Felt awful for days after that, kept replaying it in my head. It's weird how those little moments stick with you so hard.
