I took the back roads over the interstate during that 2 hour accident jam
Last Friday I hit that mess on I-35 near Waco where a semi flipped and both sides were shut down. Google Maps said 2 hours to go 6 miles, so I bailed at the exit and took Farm Road 2114 instead. My GPS kept yelling at me to turn around but I just ignored it and followed the old county roads. Took me 45 minutes total including a gravel stretch, and I only passed like 3 other cars doing the same thing. Anyone else ever had GPS almost talk them out of a good escape route?
