My GPS tried to send me through a construction zone last Tuesday

Google Maps had me turning onto a road that was literally half dug up with no warning signs on the app. I sat there for 15 minutes trying to reverse out while a guy in a hard hat just stared at me. Has anyone else had their navigation lead them straight into a mess like that?

Pro tip: always check the construction layer on Google Maps before you leave lol it's saved me from this exact nightmare more than once.

Drove right into a closed ramp on I-35 last week because of that same thing lol. @angela687 is absolutely right about checking the map first, wish I had that tip before I wasted 45 minutes circling downtown. Construction layers should come with a warning label or something, maybe a loud alarm when you're about to hit one. Jesse you're not alone in that surprise, it's like a secret level in a video game nobody told you about.
