Picked the left lane over the middle on I-95 this morning and it cost me 20 minutes
Sat behind a Prius doing 62 for 8 miles before I realized the middle lane was moving faster the whole time, has anyone else noticed left lane campers are way worse on toll roads?

Hold on, are we sure the left lane is always the right call? In my experience, tailgating a slowpoke only raises your blood pressure and doesn't actually make them move. Sometimes the middle lane's steady pace ends up being faster than the left lane's stop-and-go frustration, so I don't think it's a toll road thing, just a general highway gamble. Take it from someone who's burned too much fuel and time on that exact same mistake.

That Prius driver probably thought they were being efficient but they were just clogging up the flow. Back when I drove a Buick with a big V8, I used to be that guy chugging along in the left lane until someone flashed their lights. Now I drive a little Honda and I'm always checking my mirror, but you still get these folks who seem to forget other people exist. Toll roads seem to attract a different breed of driver, maybe because people pay extra and think they own the lane.
