Roundabouts used to be simple but now everyone treats them like a NASCAR track

Honestly, I've been driving for over 20 years and roundabouts were just a quick way to keep traffic moving. Now I see people cutting across two lanes or stopping dead in the middle to let someone in who's already inside it. Saw a minivan nearly get t-boned this morning near the Target on Elm Street because some kid in a Civic thought he could floor it through the yield. Anybody else notice how folks just forgot the basic rules on these things?

@daniel474 man that coffee spill story is brutal, I always just slow way down and let the idiots go first to avoid that mess.

My buddy Tom almost got taken out last week at the roundabout by the old grocery store. Some lady in a giant SUV just blew past the yield sign like it was a suggestion, cut right in front of him while he was already going around. He slammed his brakes so hard his coffee cup flew off the dash and spilled all over his passenger seat. Now his car smells like old milk and burnt coffee and he's still pissed about it. People just don't pay attention anymore.
