That dashcam I bought on a whim already paid for itself

Picked up a cheap $40 dashcam off Amazon two months ago after reading some post on here. Yesterday on the 405 some guy merged right into my lane and clipped my bumper, then tried to say I was the one who hit him. Cop watched the footage and gave the other driver the ticket on the spot. Has anyone else been saved by a dashcam in a situation like that?

Mine just caught me running a red light and the footage was used against me in court.

My buddy Dave had a dashcam save him when a guy tried to claim he ran a stop sign.
