Unpopular take: Left lane campers aren't the only problem on I-85
Last Tuesday morning on I-85 near Charlotte, I watched three different drivers weave through traffic doing at least 85 in a 65 zone. Everyone always complains about slow left lane hogs, but nobody wants to admit that aggressive tailgaters cause just as many pileups. I saw a dude riding someone's bumper for 2 miles before nearly causing a 4 car wreck when the guy in front braked. The camping problem is real, but I'd rather deal with a slow driver I can predict than some maniac who thinks they're in Fast and Furious. Anybody else notice the speed demons getting worse since the pandemic ended?

Best trick I learned is to just take the next exit and get back on a mile later. Way less stress than dealing with either type.

My GPS still thinks I'm a semi truck driver since I took that advice one too many times and ended up in a truck stop parking lot. Works great for the stress, not so much for my sense of direction.
