Vent: saw a stat that 1 in 4 drivers admit to eating full meals behind the wheel, so is a sandwich a crime or just survival?
Found that number in a AAA study from last fall and now I can't decide if the guy next to me at the light with a burrito is a menace or just smarter than me for skipping the drive thru line.
The part nobody talks about is how the food got in the car in the first place. That burrito guy at the light probably grabbed it at a drive thru, which means he sat in line, paid, and then decided the best time to actually eat it was while doing 45 down a two lane road. Kind of makes the drive thru pointless if you ask me. The real scary ones are the people with full plates balanced on the console, forks and all, going at it like they're at their kitchen table. A sandwich I can almost forgive since it's one hand and done in a minute.
