Watch out for the loose gravel on the Route 9 on ramp near Middletown
Drove through there this morning and there's a fresh patch of loose gravel all over the on ramp that nobody has swept up yet. I watched a guy in a small hatchback nearly spin out trying to merge at normal speed, his back end slid maybe a foot before he caught it. This is the second time this month I've seen a truck drop gravel there and just leave it for drivers to deal with. If you take that ramp on your commute, slow way down before the curve and leave extra space, it's like driving on marbles. I called the town office and they said a crew is supposed to come out Thursday. Anyone else hit this spot, or know a number that actually gets a sweeper out faster?
