Learned the smoke alarm trick at a campground last summer

Burned a pot of chili so bad at a group campsite near Lake Tahoe that the smoke alarm kept going off in our RV. Now I just take the battery out before I cook anything smoky, saves me from running outside every 5 minutes.

Yeah that's a bad idea honestly. Smoke alarms are there for a reason, especially in an RV where a fire can spread real fast. Just crack a window or set up a fan next time.
