My grandma said "just scrape it, it's still good" and I think about that every time I burn something now
I completely torched a pork chop in her cast iron back in 2019 and she just walked over, scraped the black part into the sink, and said it would taste like camping. Now when I burn dinner I hear her voice and it takes the sting out a little. Anyone else have a family member who taught them to laugh off a disaster instead of panicking?
