Hit $87.50 in saved grocery money this month from my burned toast experiments
I've been trying to use up slightly burned toast for croutons and breadcrumbs instead of tossing it. This month I added up what I would have spent on store bought versions, and it came to $87.50 at my local Aldi. Did anyone else find a way to turn their kitchen mistakes into savings, or do you just throw them out?

Honestly love this, I save old veggie scraps for stock and it adds up fast.
