A customer called my pork chops 'sad' and it stung

He said they were cut too thin and dried out fast on the grill. Now I always ask about cooking plans before cutting, and I leave a solid inch on my center-cut chops. Anyone else adjust their cuts based on how folks cook at home?

My buddy's shop got a bad review because someone boiled his steaks, so he started asking.

Honestly, a sad pork chop is a cooked pork chop. If someone dries it out on the grill, that's on them, right? You can't fix bad cooking with a thicker cut.
