Had a ribeye order for a regular and my band saw blade snapped halfway through the bone
Was cutting a 2 inch bone in ribeye for a guy who comes in every Friday at 6am and the blade just gave out, sparks and all. Had to finish it by hand with a hacksaw in front of him, felt like a rookie. Anyone got a blade brand that actually holds up on bone in?

Sparks? From a band saw blade? That means the blade was toast way before it hit that bone. A healthy blade cuts bone like butter, no sparks ever. That regular trusted you with his Friday steak and got a hacksaw show instead, rough day man. Honestly if you are getting sparks you might be pushing the meat too fast or the blade was already dull and cracked. Check your tension and guide bearings too, not just the brand.
