Just dropped $130 on a new band saw blade and it already paid for itself

I kept fighting with my old blade for months, thinking it was just me getting worse at breaking down primals. Turns out the blade was dull and slightly bent from hitting a bone wrong last fall. I picked up a new Lenox trimaster from the supply house two weeks ago for $130 and holy cow, the difference is night and day. My yield on a whole chuck went up by almost 4 pounds on my first try because I wasn't fighting through gristle and making jagged cuts. No more wasted scrap or having to re-trim edges that looked like a beaver chewed them. Has anyone else had a blade that just sneaks up on you and makes you think you lost your touch?

Blades don't really get "dull" that fast though... it's usually in your head.

Yeah, 'in your head' says the guy who's probably never seen a blade that can't decide if it wants to cut through meat or just give it a bad haircut.
