Kept losing my grind to the seam on my old bandsaw, then a guy in Fresno showed me a 2 minute fix
He had me flip the blade guide bearings and run a strip of masking tape along the table seam to stop snags, and my yield on a 40 lb batch of pork trim jumped right away. Has anyone else messed with the guide setup on an older Hobart, or is it just me overthinking it?
Tape on the seam fixing a 40 lb batch makes you feel like a genius for about five minutes, then you realize the real fix was free. Flipping the guides on an old Hobart is fair game, those things are tougher than they look.
