My band saw blade snapped mid-cut on a custom order last Friday

It made a sound like a gunshot and sent a pork shoulder flying across the room. I had to finish the cut with a hand saw while the customer watched from the window. Ever have a tool fail at the worst possible moment?

Totally, my old drill caught fire once. Just a puff of smoke but it scared me good, you ever have a tool fail like that?

Read about a guy whose angle grinder disk shattered. Shards went right through his safety glasses and into his face. Needed a bunch of stitches. That kind of failure is no joke. Makes you respect the gear and the warnings. Cheap tools or worn out parts can turn into real hazards fast.
