Sharpening on a $9 diamond stone beats my old tri stone setup for breaking down primals
I kept fighting my 1000/6000 water stone every time I broke down a chuck, so I grabbed a cheap 400 grit diamond plate from the hardware store on a whim and my edge lasts through a whole box of subprimals now. Anyone else find a cheap tool that outworks the fancy one, or am I just getting lazy in my old age?
