Stopped at that new butcher shop on 3rd Street last weekend

Walked in and they had pre-packaged everything behind glass. No custom cuts, no trimming anything fresh. Is that normal for a 'craft butcher' or did I just hit a bad one?

Sounds like a fancy grocery store, not a real butcher shop (a total rip-off, honestly).

Idk, I've been to a few actual butcher shops and some of them do charge a premium for the quality. Maybe it's just me but if the meat is really good and cut to order, the price can make sense.

Hell yeah, same here - totally worth it when you can see and smell how fresh it all is.
