That 'dry aged' sticker almost fooled me at a Dallas supplier
Picked up vacuum packed strips labeled dry aged for $18/lb last month, smelled fine but they cooked up with zero of that funky depth. Turned out they were just wet aged 14 days and sprayed with enzymes, my buddy at a USDA facility showed me the label loophole. Anyone else catching fake aging claims from distributors, or is this getting more common?
