Update: dropped $180 on a used Hobart scale and it's the best money I've put into the shop
Everyone told me to just keep using the old dial scale and put the money toward a better grinder. Six months in and that Hobart has caught more short weights than I can count, which adds up fast when you're selling by the pound at $9.50. The grinder is still fine. What's the one tool you'd go back and buy cheaper instead of upgrading?
