Back in 2019 I was waiting on the steps of the Sacramento ODAR office for my hearing and this older man next to me said his lawyer actually showed up to his first hearing, mine had sent a stand in. He told me he had waited 14 months for that day and to make sure I knew my own file better than anyone in the room. Does anyone else feel like the hearing prep has gotten way more on your shoulders since the old days?
