I was dead set on hiring a lawyer from one of those big LA firms, then a friend who went through this in San Diego changed my mind
I figured a huge firm with a fancy office downtown would get me a bigger settlement, but my friend said her small local lawyer in San Diego got her approved in 5 months while her cousin waited almost a year with a big name firm. Anyone else go with a smaller local office over a big firm and have it work out?

Small local guy got me through quick too, big firms just juggle too many cases.
