That Tuesday with 3 callbacks and one perfect fit saved my week
Last month I had a rough stretch where nothing lined up, seams off by an eighth, hinge cups slightly proud, the usual. Then out of nowhere, Tuesday hit different. I had three callbacks from jobs over the past two weeks, all small adjustments, and each one took under 20 minutes to sort out. On top of that, a new client in Columbus sent me measurements for a built-in pantry and the carcass dropped in with maybe a 1/16 gap on the left side, zero shimming. It felt like the universe finally decided to cooperate after weeks of fighting plywood. Has anyone else had a single day like that where the shop chaos just clicks, or am I just lucky?

That “universe finally decided to cooperate” feeling, was it the three callbacks or the pantry that made the day click for you?

Honestly it was probably the sheer shock that all three callbacks happened at all. I've had days where I'm lucky to get one return call, so three in a row felt like winning a tiny lottery I didn't even buy a ticket for. The pantry thing was just a bonus, I walked in there expecting a disaster and somehow found exactly the box of pasta I needed for dinner. But yeah, the callbacks were the real miracle, the universe finally deciding to work on my schedule for once. Now I'm just waiting for it to flip back to its usual chaos, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket before that happens.
