Two days of fighting a drawer slide before I flipped it upside down

Installing soft close slides on a set of kitchen drawers in Portland and kept getting this horrid catching sound about halfway out. I adjusted the mounting brackets twice, sanded the sides of the drawer, even swapped the slides side to side. Finally noticed the little plastic clip thing was on the BOTTOM of the rail instead of the top, so the whole slide was sitting inverted. Flipped them all over and it worked perfect in 10 minutes. Has anyone else gone blind to an obvious install mistake like that after staring at a piece too long?
