Just realized I pick coax connectors based on what feels right
Been a toss-up between compression and crimp-on F connectors for years. Stuck with compression after a job in Royal Oak where crimps kept failing on a wet roof.
You ever get that feeling where a connector just feels a little too loose going on, like it's not gonna hold up no matter how tight you crank it? I've had that happen with a few batches of cheaper connectors on hot days, and it always makes me second-guess myself. Do you find that gut feeling changes depending on the weather, or is it pretty consistent for you regardless?
