Just realized I've run over 500 miles of coax this year alone

My truck's odometer tracker for jobs showed the total cable length, and it blew my mind. That's a lot of attics and crawlspaces. Anyone else track their numbers and get surprised?

Ever think about what that equals in actual driving? That's like going from New York to Pittsburgh just in cable. Makes my back hurt just reading it.

bro i feel you so hard on this. back when i was helping a buddy wire up his whole home theater setup in his basement, we had like 300 feet of speaker cable running through the walls and ceiling. i swear to god by the time we were done my lower back was screaming and my knees were shot from crawling around. we had to snake it through this tight corner and i was literally laying on my stomach reaching up into the ceiling. never again. i learned real quick to map out the shortest path and use a fish tape instead of just pulling by hand. wild how much running cable feels like a workout lol.
