PSA: I used to skip the wall fish and stick with glow rods until a 20 year tech in Dayton set me straight
I was pulling a run through an insulated exterior wall off Route 35 near Dayton and cussing at my glow rods for 40 minutes while this old tech named Ray just stood there watching, then he pulled out a Magnepull and had the wire fished in under 3 minutes flat. He told me "rods are for open bays, walls with insulation eat them alive every time" and I've been using a magnet setup on interior walls since. Any of you still rolling with rods only, or did someone have to show you the hard way too?
