Realized I was stripping coax cable wrong for 5 years

Saw a guy at a job site in Phoenix just zip through it with a Klein coax stripper in one pass while I was still picking at the foil and dielectric with my fingers. Has anyone else had that moment where you find out you've been adding 15 minutes to every drop for no reason?

Been picking at foil for 5 years" sounds like my resume for a job I'm not qualified for.

Oh man, that is SO painfully accurate. Five years of picking at foil and suddenly that's supposed to count as "problem-solving skills" or "attention to detail" on a resume? So what is the actual skill here, like persistence on a useless task or what? Are you actually trying to figure out what transferable talent you developed from it, or are you just making fun of how ridiculous it sounds? Because I've definitely tried to spin "obsessively organizing my bookshelf by color" into "inventory management experience" and it did NOT fly in any interview I've been in.

Klein strippers are a game changer, just toss your old ones.
