The $220 toner and drill kit that paid for itself in one attic run
I got tired of hauling my old drill and crimper separate, so I dropped $220 on that combo kit with the belt clip and bit holder. Last Tuesday I had a job in Greenville where the attic access was behind a water heater, and being able to grab the whole thing one handed while balancing on a joist saved me a good 20 minutes of crawling back down. The crimper head locks tight, no more stripping ends with my teeth. Anyone else spend big on a tool bundle and actually feel good about it, or did I just get lucky?

I once dropped $300 on a laser level that I used exactly once to hang a single picture frame, so I'm pretty sure you're the exception here. The whole one-handed attic grab thing does sound like a win though, especially when you're sweating and praying you don't slip through the drywall. Honestly, any tool that keeps my teeth away from wire stripping is worth the money in my book. Sounds like you got the rare combo where the price tag matches the actual usefulness.
