The senior tech who made me re-terminate every drop I did last spring
Back in April I had a job in Tacoma where the senior guy on site watched me terminate about 6 drops and said my strip length was too inconsistent. He made me redo all of them on the spot and time myself each one. Turned out I was rushing the jacket cut and leaving the conductors exposed way past the spec. Now I use a length gauge on every single keystone and I haven't had a single fail on a tester in the last 2 months. Anybody else have a habit that a senior tech had to break you of? What did they catch you doing?
