Vent: my crimper died mid job on a 12 unit apartment run
Halfway through the second floor on a 12 unit apartment run in Bedford, my crimper just quit on me with no warning. I had 40 fittings left to press and the handle went loose in my hand, turns out the spring snapped inside. Drove 25 minutes to the supply house on Route 8 and they had one left in stock, but it cost me almost 90 minutes I did not have. I finished the run but missed my next appointment and the property manager was not happy. What's your backup plan when a tool dies mid install, do you carry a spare or just wing it?
