Watched a new installer try to staple coax to a brick wall today
I was on a job in Greenville last week helping a green guy run lines for a new apartment complex. He spent 20 minutes trying to hammer a staple into a brick exterior instead of just using a D-ring or a cable tie. I had to stop him because he was about to damage the jacket and cause a signal loss. Has anyone else noticed new folks skipping the proper mounting hardware?

Hell yeah, he was probably the same guy who uses a flathead screwdriver as a prybar.

Three times I've seen guys do that with a screwdriver, @the_elliot - did the guy also use his channel locks as a hammer on that job?
