Had to choose between paying a lawyer $500 to fight a parking ticket or just paying the $60 fine
Paid the fine, then found out my neighbor fought the exact same ticket and won with a photo of the sign blocked by a tree branch, so now I'm kicking myself.

Eh honestly you're out $60 who cares, it's basically the cost of a decent dinner. People act like they lost a court case or something lol.

A buddy of mine lost $120 in a fantasy football buy-in once and had to skip his sister's birthday dinner because he couldn't make rent that month. @reese_nelson, for plenty of people sixty bucks is what stands between them and a late electric bill, not a night out. Reassessing what stuff is worth doesn't make someone dramatic, just means they've got different numbers to work with.
