Spent $500 on a traffic lawyer for a camera ticket. Worth it?

Oh man, I mean $500 for a traffic lawyer just for a camera ticket? idk about that. Camera tickets are usually pretty easy to fight on your own or just pay if it's not that much. Unless you're like racking up points on your license or something, most insurance companies don't even care about camera tickets since they're civil violations. I feel like that money could have gone to way better stuff, like a nice dinner or even just paying the original ticket if it was cheaper. Maybe it's just me but I've gotten a couple camera tickets and just paid them without any drama. Seems like an overreaction unless you got a bunch of them already.

Honestly @carter.laura I paid a lawyer $500 once and the ticket was a picture of my mom driving my car.

Well @carter.laura actually camera tickets are civil violations not criminal but they still can affect insurance rates in some states.
