Finally got that sticky shutter on a Pentax 67 sorted, but only after I wasted $85 on the wrong replacement part.

Ordered a new shutter curtain from a supplier I hadn't used before. The listing said it was for the 67, but when it arrived, the mounting holes were off by maybe a millimeter. Totally my fault for not checking the part number against the service manual first. Had to eat the cost and wait another week for the right one. Anyone know a reliable source for those older TLR and medium format parts? I'm trying to build a better list.

Man, my buddy had the worst time with his Mamiya C330. He bought a focus screen that was listed for the model, but the frame lines were for a different lens. He didn't realize until he'd already messed up the old one trying to swap them. Total nightmare, he was out like sixty bucks and had to hunt for weeks to find the correct one. It really made him double check every single part number from then on.

Wait, he messed up the old one before checking the new one?

I used to trust listings blindly but that exact thing happened to me.
