Hit 200 shutter repairs last Tuesday without realizing it

I was just counting through my logbook to update my website and saw I crossed 200 shutter repairs last week. That number surprised me because I started doing this from my kitchen table two years ago, and now I have a whole bench setup in the garage. Anyone else keep a running count or just me?

My logbook is pretty beat up now with grease stains on half the pages but honestly it's cool seeing the numbers stack up over time. I started tracking mine just to see if certain models kept coming back and it helped me spot which repairs I needed to get faster at.

Wait which models ended up being the ones you saw the most? Was it a specific brand or year range that kept showing up in your logbook? I'm curious because I've been tracking mine for about 6 months now and I swear half my entries are those 2018-2020 Ford Focuses with the weird transmission shudder. It got to the point where I just started keeping the parts in stock because I knew theyd be back every few weeks.

Man that transmission shudder issue is no joke, I had a buddy who bought a 2019 Focus and it felt like driving over a washboard every time he hit 20 mph. He took it to three different shops before anyone even admitted it was a known problem. Crazy that you had to just start stockpiling parts for those things, but honestly I think it just shows how bad Ford dropped the ball on that whole generation.
