Spent $400 on a specialized vacuum tweezers set for sensor cleaning. Some guys say it's overkill and canned air is fine, others swear by the investment. What's your take?

Canned air can actually blow dust deeper into the sensor. A vacuum pulls it out, which is the whole point.

Did they throw in a tiny vacuum butler for that price?

My old DSLR has survived a decade of dust with just a few puffs from a rocket blower. The sensor cleaning industry feels like a solution hunting for a problem most people don't have. Spending that much on a vacuum for your camera is a choice, for sure. I've never seen a photo ruined by a speck that a simple edit couldn't fix later.
