A guy at a REI in Boise told me to skip the $300 sleeping pad and just buy a $20 foam roll
I disagreed with him for an hour until he showed me his 6 year old roll that still looked new, while my third inflatable pad that season had a slow leak, so now I want to know if anyone else has gone back to cheap foam after years of chasing fancy gear.
